The Unknown Poet

One night I had a marvelous

Dream of flying way up high in

The sky.

I’d fly with the birds up to

The clouds and hear a magical

Tale from the fairies that

Live there.

Then ever so gently we’d all

Begin to sing as the stars

Would fall into place.

How ravishing it would really

Be to fly up high in the sky.

To sleep in a satiny, fluffy,

Marshmallow cloud,

Where the moon is your night-light

And the wind your lullaby.

I found this in my kid’s old school work collection with no name. Do any of you claim it?

My Love for You

My Love for You

My love for you

Is deep as the sea,

As light as a sun on a

Summer day.

But your love for me

As far as I can see,

Is all the world and

It’s beauty.

Ocean Arms

Haiku

Ocean Arms

Ocean arms reach for

The shore, cling to the sand but,

Always letting go.

illumination

What life can compare to this? Sitting quietly by the window, I watch the leaves fall, and the flowers bloom, as the seasons come and go. (Hsueh-Tou, 982-1052)

New Blog

This is my new blog. I really messed up my other one so I am trying again.. I am not even sure that I am actually a blogger. I like to talk with people though. I wish blogging was more like sitting on the front porch in the evening chatting with friends.
